With in depth knowledge in many different types of wedding Groovemix has just the DJ for the big day. Someone with years of 'hands on' experience and expertise. Whatever the venue a marquee or inside - we have something everyone!
Each and every potential wedding client is offered a free* pre-booking consultation, face to face. This has proved much success and many aspects of the important day can be resolved this way, well in advance at ease. *Free visits subject to location.
The Disco
We offer a high quality all round show which comprises of the following: Starcloth DJ booth, two silk flame effects, intelligent coloured lighting and JBL PA sound systems (size and volume of sound system will depend on event size and/or requirements)
Music
Our music library contains a decent selection of most music genre's and every UK chart single ever released. 99% of our music is in high quality audio via WAV or MP3 formats. Most music is sourced from our main computer system which is backed up in the unlikely event of any unforeseen failure. Also our DJ uses CD players for playout. What we play varies alot. A typical audience at a wedding would expect to hear a mix ranging the 1950s,60s,70s, 80s, 90s and 00s. The types of music will feature party music, popular music and more. For other tastes, we may play out stuff from specialist genre's like hip-hop, old skool house, D&B, indie, reggae, ska, punk, rock'n'roll & more.
Disc Jockey
Experience goes back a good 15 years. On the event itself, our DJ will ensure the right mix of music at the right time, using his experience to go with the flow and read reactions of how things go down on the dancefloor.
